Denny was the one! We first saw him on the Sale of the Mustangs In Jan. for the Mustang Extreme Makeover in Fort Worth TX. He was the one my Husband wanted no matter what. There were at least 210 or more and he was hip 208. He was striking, 6 yrs old but had never been touched. We got to view about 10 sec. of them spooking around after they had been turned out of the shoot they were captured in so we could tell height. He is 15.1H and 1200lbs. of Mustang and what a beauty. When we got him home May 16th,2011, he was a wild as he could be. But we only had 90 days. So we went right to work on him and others we had and were helping with. Pretty soon ole Denny started, staring among the pack, he was getting quiet and looking for Kinzy my husband and winning for him every time he came in the barn. Trying to find him every time he was around and he could smell him. He loves companionship. Denny was soon trained to do anything you asked of him, Beautiful flying leads, sliding to stops (had to have special sliders as his feet are so big and strong.), great spins and very very nice circles. Along with Team Roping as a Head and Heel Horse and Calf Rope training and some cow horse to go with that.. Also going through the toughest trail class you could ever put one though. Jumping through Round bale feeders while running, jumping on the back of and spinning on a moving flat bed trailer, jumping in the back of a pick up. He has been on Many cow round ups and Horse round ups as well. Of course swimming though ponds and bridges, dragging whatever you want to drag behind him. He did show in the Mustang Extreme Makeover and there were 100+ Head there showing and he ended up 23rd to go back into the Finals, but he did a great job and sure was ready. There is only one thing Denny does not like, and that is lack of us or someones attention as he loves to be loved. He just flat loves attention. He Loves Horse attention and human attention. He will flat run to you in a pasture, loves to hear his name called and come to you. He really really is an angle!!! 100% sound absolutely no vices, will stand tied all day, hauls great in any type of trailer, baths, Stands great for the shoer, picks up all feet really good, not so big on clipping or shots, but can be tolerated. But why would you clip a Mustang, thats what we decided with him anyway. Shots yes he is up on all vaccinations and dewormings and Shod. I would be honored to re-assign him to a special person or family, but he has to go to a loving very good home, with the option if you do not want him we get the opportunity to get him back. We are only doing this as we are not using him much and he would really like a great home with of lots of attention and opportunity to be a family horse.
