Sold Horses

I bought J-Lo off the sale of Mustangs In Jan. for the Mustang Extreme Makeover in Fort Worth TX. She was the one I had picked for Jordan thinking she could show in the Makeover, only learning she was not old enough for the division we trained her for, so Kinzy ended up showing her. I picked her out after the sale was done in the left over stock and she was cute and little 14H and 800lbs.. She was striking,5- 6 yrs old but had never been touched, but she had a lot of presents, When we got her home May 16th,2011, he was a wild as she could be. But we only had 90 days. So we went right to work on her as well and others we had and were helping with. J-Lo was not as trusting as Denny and took awhile to gain her confidence and get her to have the security we wanted her to have, but she was sensible and did not have any fight in her at all, just was not quite sure what to think of us all. Jordan rode her a lot after Kinzy got her very safe and continued to work hard on her reining, cow and roping work. Along of course with the trial riding, the bond was evident between them. She also had Beautiful flying leads, sliding to stop, great spins and very very nice circles. Along with Team Roping as a Heel Horse and Calf Rope training and some cow horse to go with that.. Also going through the toughest trail class you could ever put one though. Jumping through Round bale feeders while running, jumping on the back of and spinning on a moving flat bed trailer, jumping in the back of a pick up. She has been on Many cow round ups and Horse round ups as well. Of course swimming though ponds and bridges, dragging whatever you want to drag behind him. She did show in the Mustang Extreme Makeover and there were 100+ Head there showing and J-Lo made it well into the finals, placing in the top ten bringing home $2000 and a whole lot of fun. (Video above) She has been used as a heel horse ever since and doing fabulous at it, of course keeping her tuned up in her other training as well. She is100% sound absolutely no vices, will stand tied all day, hauls great in any type of trailer, baths, Stands great for the shoer, picks up all feet really good, Clips very well. Shots yes she is up on all vaccinations and dewormings and Shod. I would be honored to re-assign her to a special person or family, but she has to go to a loving very good home, with the option if you do not want her we get the opportunity to get her back. We are only doing this as we are not using her much and she would really like a great home with of lots of attention and opportunity to be a family horse as well.
